"I want to thank you again for coming to my house yesterday for the consultation. I have already decided to move the "big" television to a cabinet, and rearrange the furniture as you suggested. I am also going to have the shelving built so I can have a library, small, but still a library. The huge bookcases are going to the Assistance League along with several other pieces of furniture and I am going to get a new dining room table and chairs. (No more "fruitcake" for me!) I'm also going to look into changing the slider to a lovely French [single] door with a panel on the side. The room is small and as you said, the door is too big and it interferes with my [only] architectural feature - the arch. I'm so excited to get started I was up until midnight last night looking at things and sorting and I have bags of things to take the Assistance League. I can't tell you how freeing it is to get rid of things! Benefitting from your good eye, creativity and advice, even though my house is small and began its life as a cookie cutter home, it can be warm, welcoming and , yes, stunning. I will take pictures as I progress and send them to you so you can see how it comes along. Thank you again so very much."

"Debbie totally redesigned our living room and dining room, and partially redesigned our kitchen. Her expertise for our project included selection of color, architectural accents, window treatments, floor covering, hardwood flooring, lighting, furniture and accessories. She also designed a new fireplace for us and managed all contractors' work related to the project."
"We met with Debbie in Feb. 2011. We had a problematic living room/dining room space that we had tried to work out, but had not succeeded. We liked her personality and her professional approach very much. She presented us with several creative design options using virtual design software. (Several times along the way she used this software and it gave us much confidence about the decisions we were making.) Upon presentation and discussion of the design options, we chose one and immediately she began to organize the project. From that time forward there was very little down time. The project proceeded under her management with few glitches. Her wonderful design became a reality in about 5 months, exactly her initial time estimate with no budget surprises. She's also an excellent communicator. There was never a moment when we were left wondering about anything. It would be a privilege to work with her again. "

"Debbie's level of personal service and attention to detail was without fault. She listened carefully to what I wanted, offered suggestions that were creative and within my budget, and brought me numerous color and fabric samples, all of which were of a style with which I felt comfortable. At the same time, she suggested new approaches and ways of looking at colors and room decor that added a great deal to the end result. In addition, I was working under a time deadline, and Debbie always did what was necessary to ensure that we stuck to the schedule and were done on time. I wanted to be able to use my existing furniture and collectibles, and Debbie was able to put things together in new and innovative ways. The result is a warm, comfortable home that still looks and feels new and up to date."

"Long before Debbie went to design school it was obvious to many of us that this was her calling. She comes by her talent naturally. She has a great eye for color, fabrics and textures. She's creative and can design a room on any scale or budget."

"Debbie's understanding of functional, yet attractive, layouts helped solve the dilemma of a long and narrow family room."
"Debbie's systematic planning helped us achieve a functional and warm family room... where the T.V. was not the center of the room."

"Our living room is a small and awkward shape. Debbie was able to find furniture and fabrics that not only look beautiful, but also make the most of the space. It's now a very cozy and inviting room. I highly recommend Debbie Talianko."
